The Momentum Continues After an Incredible Summer Conference
Dear FSGA Members,
This year's FSGA Summer Conference was a tremendous reminder of what makes our community so special. Seeing so many members, sponsors, partners, and industry leaders together in Philadelphia to reconnect, exchange ideas, forge new partnerships, and shape the future of our industry was truly energizing. Whether conversations happened in educational sessions, over coffee, during networking events, or behind closed meeting room doors, the momentum was unmistakable. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year's conference such a success.
One of the highlights was the release of our latest industry research, New Research on AI, Prediction Markets & the Future of Fantasy Sports. The findings reinforce just how quickly our industry continues to evolve and provide valuable insights into where consumer behavior, technology, and innovation are heading. If you haven't already, I encourage all members to download the report and explore the findings.
Congratulations to Monster League Fantasy for capturing this summer’s Elevator Pitch Competition title, and thank you to every company that stepped onto the stage to share new ideas and innovations. We also had the privilege of recognizing Nigel Eccles as the newest member of the Fantasy Sports Hall of Fame, celebrating his lasting impact on the growth and evolution of fantasy sports.
While our Summer Conference may be behind us, the opportunities to connect continue. Our FSGA Expert Leagues are underway, and I'd like to thank everyone participating. These leagues continue to showcase the passion, camaraderie, and competitive spirit that define our industry. And our next FSGA Member Meet Up will take place during the Fantasy Football Expo on Friday, July 24 at the Canton Club Vault from 3:00-5:00 p.m. ET, and I encourage everyone who will be there to join us. Whether you're reconnecting with longtime colleagues or meeting someone for the first time, every conversation helps strengthen the industry we all serve.
I also wanted to provide a brief update on our strategic planning. Before the conference officially began, your Board of Directors spent the morning engaged in an important strategic planning session focused on the future of the Association. We challenged ourselves with big questions: What does a broader "sports gaming" ecosystem look like? What role should the FSGA play within it? And how will we know when we've become a truly influential voice for the industry? We then brought those conversations to our member companies and sponsors during the Chair's Leadership Lunch to hear what resonated, what opportunities they see, and where they believe we should lead. Those conversations will help shape the strategic plan we'll continue developing over the coming months, and I'm excited about where they're leading us.
Finally, what an incredible week for soccer fans around the globe. Congratulations to Spain and Argentina on reaching the FIFA World Cup Final. Like many of you, I'll be tuning in this Sunday to watch the championship match, and it's another reminder of the global passion for sports that brings our entire community together.
Thank you again for your continued support of the FSGA. The momentum from Philadelphia is only the beginning, and I look forward to everything we'll accomplish together in the months ahead.
Warm regards,
Brandon Loeschner
Chair, FSGA Board of Directors
