FSGA Takes the Stage at SBC Summit Americas

The Fantasy Sports & Gaming Association (FSGA) is proud to take an active leadership role at SBC Summit Americas, the premier event for sports betting and iGaming in the U.S. and Latin American markets, being held this week in South Florida.

On Wednesday, May 14, the FSGA will present four exclusive panel sessions, curated to spotlight the innovation, regulatory expertise, and market insight within the fantasy sports and gaming sectors. All panels will be held in Conference Room 1 at the Broward County Convention Center, and will feature FSGA Board members as moderators and participants, representing the forefront of thought leadership in the industry.

FSGA-curated sessions include:

  • The State of Fantasy Sports in America | 2:45 – 3:10 PM ET
A current landscape analysis of fantasy sports in the U.S., exploring user demographics, market data, and business trends. (FSGA’s Brandon Loeschner and Matt Deutsch.)

  • Crossover between Fantasy Sports & Sports Betting | 3:10 – 3:35 PM ET
A discussion on the increasing convergence between fantasy and wagering platforms—and the opportunities and challenges that come with it. (FSGA’s Paul Charchian and Howard Kamen.)

  • Paid Fantasy Sports & Sports Betting – Legislation & Regulation Differences | 3:35 – 4:20 PM ET
Legal experts will unpack the differing regulatory approaches to fantasy sports and betting, with insights into the implications for operators and policymakers. (FSGA’s Kevin Vela.)

  • The Evolution of Sports on the Internet: SportsLine USA | 4:30 – 4:50 PM ET
A look back at the pioneering days of online sports content and betting information, with lessons that still resonate today. (FSGA’s Rick Wolf and Thomas Knapp.)

In addition to the four panel sessions, the FSGA will have a booth at the event. If you’re attending SBC Summit Americas, stop by Location M20 in the main convention hall (right next to Conference Room 4), say hello, and learn more about membership and sponsorship opportunities!

Looking Ahead

The FSGA invites all attendees and industry professionals to continue the conversation at the 2025 FSGA Summer Conference, taking place June 30 – July 1 in Chicago. Featuring top-tier networking, deep-dive sessions, and a keynote conversation with Kay Adams and Nate Ravitz, it’s a can’t-miss event for industry leaders.
