Chair's Message - June 2026
Dear FSGA Members,
As we head into summer, excitement continues to build for the 2026 FSGA Summer Conference in Philadelphia (July 8-9). If you haven't checked the latest updates, I encourage you to visit the conference website and review both the newly released Agenda at a Glance and our comprehensive Sessions & Speakers page. The program is shaping up to be one of our strongest yet, featuring industry leaders discussing the future of sports gaming, fantasy sports, regulation, innovation, technology, consumer engagement, and emerging opportunities across our industry. Hear from Ryan Spoon at Yahoo Media Group, Frank Brank and Jeff Ratcliffe at For the Numbers (FTN), engage in an AI Workshop, and so much more! I hope you'll join us at the Logan Philadelphia as we bring together leaders from across the sports gaming ecosystem for several days of networking, learning, and collaboration.
Before looking ahead, I want to thank everyone that joined us for the FSGA Member Meetup at SBC Summit Americas. We were thrilled to see more than 40 members and industry professionals register for the event, creating another valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships across the community. Special thanks to our sponsors, CBS Sports Digital, RubinBrown, Underdog, and Zerohash, for helping make the gathering possible.
The FSGA’s panel in Fort Lauderdale, “Fan Engagement: Fantasy Sports Is Critical,” served as an important continuation of our partnership with SBC to help curate strong fantasy sports content for their events. The discussion reinforced how fantasy sports do more than reflect fan engagement, they create it, turning passive viewers into active participants and deepening loyalty to players, teams, and the broader sports ecosystem.
The broader SBC agenda also brought tremendous energy, with key conversations around prediction markets, regulatory developments, illegal and unregulated markets, and the continued growth of iGaming. It was great to see so many FSGA members exhibiting and attending, and our booth gave us the opportunity to connect with more than 50 new contacts evaluating membership. That momentum is a reminder of the essential role FSGA plays in connecting the industry and reinforces the importance of bringing our members together and continuing the conversations that move our industry forward. To that end, I encourage every member to talk with their vendors, partners, and colleagues about joining the association, and shooting us a note with leads via our membership referral form. We’ll be happy to follow up with them.
Speaking of opportunities to connect, the FSGA Expert League Football Drafts are right around the corner. These leagues continue to be one of the most engaging ways for members to participate, network with peers, and build relationships across the industry. We appreciate Extreme Fantasy Football for their sponsorship of this program. We’re especially excited to once again host a live draft during the Summer Conference on Wednesday, July 8 followed by FSGA Experts Week (July 13-17) which will ALL be hosted on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio. These drafts continue to create more fun and interactive ways for members to get involved. Our goal is to ensure the FSGA remains at the forefront of helping shape the future of sports gaming, expanding our brand and reach throughout the industry, and delivering meaningful value to our members. We look forward to sharing more about these efforts in the months ahead.
Thank you for your continued support of the FSGA. I can't wait to see everyone in Philly!
