Dear FSGA Members, 

Spring is a season of fresh energy and forward momentum—and at the FSGA, that spirit is alive and well. I’m excited to share some important updates, as well as a few can’t-miss events coming your way. 

I want to share that Tony Veroeven has left AMPED (our association management company) for a new opportunity. As a result, he also resigned his position as FSGA Executive Director, effective April 11. We’re grateful for Tony’s contributions these last couple of years and wish him all the best in his next chapter. In the meantime, Charlotte Patterson, FSGA’s Meetings Manager, has stepped in as our Interim Executive Director while we conduct a search for Tony’s successor. If you have any questions or need support, please feel free to reach out to Charlotte at cpatterson@thefsga.org.  

Next, please join me in once again extending a warm welcome to the newest members of the FSGA Board of Directors:

Each of them brings a unique perspective and a deep passion for the fantasy sports and gaming industries. We’re thrilled to have their expertise, insight, and enthusiasm guiding the future of the FSGA. 

Congratulations are also in order for four incumbent members of the Board that were reelected: Griffin Finan (DraftKings), Daniel Haight (Stokastic), Thomas Knapp (CBS Sports Digital), and Digger Turnbull (Game Night Sports). 

At the same time, we’d like to offer a heartfelt thank you to our outgoing Board members: Tyler Fuller (NFL), Matt Tremblay (FanDuel), and Ed Williams (Macklyn Sports Media Consulting). Their dedication, leadership, and countless hours of service have left a lasting impact on our organization. The contributions they’ve made during their time on the Board helped shape the FSGA’s direction and growth. We are sincerely grateful for everything they’ve done. 

Looking ahead, we’re excited to invite you to stop by the FSGA booth (D690) at SBC, May 13-15 in Fort Lauderdale.  We’ll also be hosting an FSGA Member Meetup at SBC and invite you to join us.

FSGA Member Meetups are a great opportunity to connect with industry peers, catch up with old friends, and make new ones—all in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Of course, the big event on our calendar is the FSGA Summer Conference, at the Westin River North in Chicago, June 30 – July 1. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or new to the community, the FSGA Summer Conference is the place to be for the latest insights, networking, and innovation in fantasy sports and gaming. 

Our Conference Committee is hard at work developing an incredible lineup of panels, speakers, and activities that you won’t want to miss.
